To explain in writing the advantages and disadvantages of truss, beam, & suspension bridge design and visually identify each bridge

  1. Do Now- Get out the graphic organizer for the video “Big, Bigger, Biggest- Bridges” & put your name on it and Copy the information for the Verrazano-Narrows and Akashi Kaikyo Bridges into your graphic organizer.
  2. Science Friday- Solar Spotting and How Humpbacks Hunt with Bubbles
  3. Complete Advance Organizer- “Build a Bridge- Do Your Homework”
  4. Bridge Packet- Use pp.204-211 in Motion, Forces, & Energy textbook as a resource
  5. Model- “Design Your Own Bridge”- Planning Stage
