  • To describe all positions of objects and the directions of forces & motions in an arbitrarily chosen frame of reference

Learning Activities:

  1. Do Now– Get out your science notebook and open to your Unit Cover page on page 93; Add to the Table of Contents- “Motion Investigation p.97” (Right Side); Head page 97 properly with “Motion-Investigation-5/3/16.”
  2. Investigation Experiment– How does the speed of your motion affect the time it takes to walk a certain distance? Plan experiment- Identify IV, DV, constants/controlled variables and form hypothesis as full class. In cooperative table groups, design a procedure & data table. Model possible procedure.
