Cooperative Table Group Expectations

When we work with others, it is so we can help each other learn even more than we could by ourselves. Working with others does not mean one person works and the other sits!

cooperative table group

  • Divide up roles & duties before beginning.
  • Everyone does his or her fair share of the work.
  • Listen completely before commenting.
  • Begin each critique or constructive criticism with at least one positive comment.
  • Ensure that everyone in the group participates.
  • Expect respect and model respectful cooperation.
  • Compromise when necessary to maintain forward progress.

Be flexible and cooperate in your group to talk about your work, drill each other on the concepts that you’re learning, share ideas, share materials, and encourage one another to learn!
